Warnings!
- Obesity is a big problem with bearded dragons, and can lead to serious health issues. If their belly touches they ground when they are walking around upright, you are probably feeding them too much and should cut back, especially on the insects!
- Impaction is also a very dangerous, fatal risk. Having loose substrate in the terrarium is one of the most common mistakes that can lead to impaction, but hard foods that are too large can also cause a this risk. Make sure anything tough you feed them is smaller than the width between their eyes!
- Animal protein, like mice for instance, are a big no-no! Just don't.
- Because insects and worms from outside can carry parasites and other scary germs inside of their bellies, the insects and worms must be bought from a special reptile or pet store where they are fed a healthy diet
